Bumps and Babies Sales

We fund the festival by holding up to six Bumps and Babies Sales every year. This is how it works: people donate their unwanted items to us (maternity and breastfeeding clothes, baby/toddler/child clothes, toys, equipment, washable nappies, etc), and we sort and store all donations. We then take all our stock to our Bumps and Babies Sales, and anything unsold goes back into our stock for future sales. Donating to us is an excellent way of supporting the festival. Our volunteers do the sorting and staff the sales. We are very grateful to the Ulverston Children's Centre for letting us use the centre for our fundraising free of charge for past sales. Our sales grew, so we moved to a new, larger venue - Church Walk School (Ulverston CofE Infants School), and we are very grateful for the use of the school for our sales. We moved the sales to Ford House at Ford Park at the end of 2013, and our latest move is to Greenlane Archaeology's offices on Lower Brook Street at the start of 2015.
